Documented specifications
AudioCodes · AudioCodes maintained a live product page and version 2.7 documentation at review; Microsoft listed Android 12 certification through August 15, 2028. Base and DBW variants, expansion-module certification, firmware, availability and support can change independently.

Unlisted fields remain unverified. Platform compatibility and remaining support life require confirmation for the exact ordered model.
Order the base or DBW variant deliberately
AudioCodes assigns dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2 to devices with the DBW suffix. The optional expansion module is also documented only for the C455HD-DBW version. Record the full regional part number and quote before planning wireless or reception workflows; a C455HD family name or product image is not variant evidence.
Confirm handset, cables, supply, headset and module as separate line items. A port or suffix does not establish that an accessory is included, orderable in the region, approved on the installed firmware or permitted by network and spectrum policy.
Keep phone and expansion-module lifecycles separate
Microsoft listed the C455HD phone with Android 12 certification through August 15, 2028, while the certification table gives the C455HD-DBW expansion module its own entry and end date. Treat the phone, DBW variant and module as distinct inventory and lifecycle records.
The module is an accessory to the host phone, not a separate line, PBX registration or capacity grant. Map every required speed dial, presence, pickup, park and transfer action to the actual account and Teams policy, then test paging, page changes, labels and call-state updates with the installed combination.
Separate certification reference from installed firmware
Microsoft listed certification reference firmware 2.1.638 and separately published 2.7.565 (AOSP), released August 24, 2026, for a phone group that includes the C455HD. These rows answer different questions and neither proves the firmware or application bundle on one handset.
Capture Android, firmware, Teams client, Intune, Authenticator and Admin Agent versions from the phone and management plane. Use approved update rings and current release guidance; recheck both phone and accessory records before a material change.
Validate touch, keys and reception workflow together
The 5-inch 1280 x 720 touch display and dedicated controls provide inputs, not a completed reception workflow. Decide how calls arrive, which identities and queues appear, how users find a destination, and which hold, transfer, park, pickup and fallback steps apply. Then test them under the intended Teams account, licence and policy.
Evaluate readability, touch targets, prompts, handset, speaker and training with representative users. An expansion module may add visible contacts, but it does not repair tenant policy, queue design, PSTN routing or insufficient staffing.
Budget power and prove each network or accessory path
AudioCodes documents dual Gigabit Ethernet, PoE Class 3, 12 V DC and USB headset support, with extra power required for a loud USB speakerphone. The DBW version adds Wi-Fi and Bluetooth paths. Test wired Ethernet, Wi-Fi, USB and Bluetooth separately because success on one does not establish another.
Confirm PoE budget with the exact phone and accessories, and test the approved headset through answer, mute, volume, hold and transfer. Preserve VLAN, addressing, DNS, time, certificate and negotiated call evidence rather than inferring operation from the connector list.
Pilot identity, management, calling and recovery
Assign ownership across Teams admin center and AudioCodes management tooling, then run an authorized pilot covering boot, enrollment, sign-in, policy arrival, directory, inbound and outbound identity, hold, transfer, voicemail, module actions, headset, update, restart and power or network recovery. Validate emergency location only through the provider-approved process and maintain an independent emergency path.
No C455HD, DBW variant, expansion module, regional SKU, tenant, account, licence, switch, WLAN, accessory, firmware, application bundle, management service, protected session, emergency route, availability, compatibility, price, audio result or live call was inspected or tested for this reference.
