AudioCodes IP phones

Choose an AudioCodes Teams-native phone by exact model, radio suffix, certification, installed software and managed-device workflow.

Reviewed 2026-10-12AudioCodes' current IP-phone portfolio, C470HD product and version 2.7 documentation plus Microsoft's live Teams certification and firmware tables reviewed October 6, 2026; no phone, SKU, tenant, account, licence, network, accessory, firmware, management service or call was inspected or testedIntermediateDocumentation based · not lab tested

Start with the application and exact orderable model

AudioCodes' current phone portfolio includes Teams-native devices whose hardware, Android generation, firmware and interaction model differ. Select the workload first: assigned user, shared or common-area position, reception role or another documented Teams scenario. Then record the exact model, part number and suffix instead of transferring a family-page capability to every handset.

A Microsoft Teams-native phone is a managed endpoint for the Teams service. Certification does not make it a generic SIP phone, prove PSTN service or establish that an arbitrary tenant policy, identity or emergency workflow is ready.

Keep radio and accessory variants exact

Suffixes matter. The C470HD product page assigns integrated Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi to part numbers with the DBW suffix and limits radio support to specified regions. A base-model name, product photograph or software menu is not evidence that one ordered unit contains or may lawfully use those radios.

Confirm handset, power supply, cable, headset and other package contents from the regional quote. Validate each USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or expansion accessory against the exact phone, firmware, Teams workload and power path; a connector does not establish a supported combination.

Track certification, release and installed state separately

Microsoft publishes a certification reference with Android version and an end date, then a separate public-cloud firmware history with bundled Teams, Intune, Authenticator and Admin Agent components. AudioCodes maintains product manuals, release notes and firmware channels. None of those records proves what one phone has installed or what a tenant has approved.

Capture the phone-reported firmware, Android version and application bundle plus the management plane's update policy. Recheck both vendors before purchase or change, and preserve rollout ring, deferral, reboot and rollback evidence.

Bind identity, management and calling to the position

Treat device enrollment, Teams sign-in, account type, licence, calling policy, PSTN connection, number, caller identity and physical emergency location as separate administrative objects. A successful sign-in does not prove inbound calling, outbound normalization, voicemail, queue behavior or emergency routing.

Define the authority of Teams admin center and any AudioCodes device-management service, including inventory, configuration, logs and update ownership. Protect credentials and diagnostic bundles, remove temporary access after use and document replacement or reassignment handling for shared positions.

Pilot the complete managed endpoint

Use a representative device and approved tenant to test cold boot, enrollment, sign-in, policy arrival, directory, inbound and outbound calls, hold, transfer, mute, voicemail, speaker, handset, approved headset, update and network or power recovery. Test required Wi-Fi or Bluetooth only on the correct suffix and region.

Retain exact versions and outcomes. No AudioCodes phone, orderable SKU, tenant, account, licence, network, accessory, firmware, management path, protected session, emergency workflow, availability, compatibility, price, audio result or live call was inspected or tested for this hub.

Compare three current AudioCodes interaction models

The C435HD uses a compact non-touch display and physical programmable keys. The C455HD adds a landscape touch interface and an exact-variant expansion path, while the C470HD uses a larger portrait touch surface. Compare workload, suffix, current certification and installed software rather than ranking the model numbers alone.

Add current integrated-sidecar and MDEP models to the comparison

The C436HD combines a compact display with an integrated sidecar for common-area workflows. The C456HD adds an Android 13 MDEP platform, programmable action button, hardware microphone control and optional G2 expansion path. Compare exact workload, certification and installed software; model number alone does not establish readiness.
