Documented specifications
Yealink · Yealink presents the T77U as a new T7 Series phone and maintains a dedicated support centre. Regional stock, exact order code, hardware revision, firmware support, accessory availability and provider approval remain separate evidence.
| Specification | Documented value |
|---|---|
| Display and stand | 7-inch 800×480 backlit color touch screen and a stand with two adjustable angles; readability, touch accuracy, theme and physical placement remain deployment tests Source ↗ |
| Connectors and accessory roles | The product page identifies USB-A and USB-C connectors plus USB headset, EHS and color-screen expansion-module support; connector presence does not establish an approved combination, power budget or included accessory Source ↗ |
| Published audio features | Acoustic Shield, AI Noise Cancellation and a 3 W speaker are manufacturer capabilities rather than measured room, headset or two-way-call results Source ↗ |
| Security capabilities | Yealink lists a trusted execution environment, secure-boot integrity verification, firmware encryption and signature checks, 802.1X, WPA3, TLS 1.3, SRTP and encrypted configuration; each remains configuration- and path-dependent Source ↗ |
| Accessibility and warnings | Current support entries describe accessibility functions and warnings for a default password, failed registration, wrong provisioning credentials and unavailable network; installed firmware, language and policy determine the actual operator workflow Source ↗ |
Unlisted fields remain unverified. Platform compatibility and remaining support life require confirmation for the exact ordered model.
Keep the T77U exact within the T7 family
The T77U is a touch-screen T7 Series phone. Its seven-inch display, connector layout and expansion path must not be transferred to the T74U, T74W, T85W, T87W or another similarly named model. Capture the label, regional order code, hardware revision, package and installed firmware before provisioning.
The live product page does not establish local availability, provider certification or the purchased accessory set. Keep those facts with the order and service acceptance record rather than filling gaps from a sibling model or reseller listing.
Test touch and physical controls together
Yealink publishes a seven-inch 800×480 backlit touch screen, two stand angles, light and dark themes, icons and soft keys. Verify the real idle, active-call, directory, transfer, conference, voicemail and recovery paths with the selected language and accessibility settings. A visible control is not proof that the PBX accepts the resulting feature action.
Record glare, viewing angle, timeout, lock state and touch accuracy at the intended desk. Preserve a physical fallback for critical actions and document how an operator returns from an unfamiliar screen.
Inventory USB-A, USB-C, EHS and expansion separately
The product page identifies USB-A and USB-C connectors and support for USB headsets, EHS and color-screen expansion modules. It does not establish that every attachment is included, mutually compatible, supported together or powered by the phone in the intended configuration.
List every module, cable, headset, storage device and EHS adapter, then verify the exact connector, supported chain, firmware prerequisite, power owner, key labels, restart behavior and failure recovery. Do not turn expansion positions into SIP-account, active-call or call-start capacity.
Bound audio and security marketing to evidence
Acoustic Shield, AI Noise Cancellation and the 3 W speaker are published capabilities, not measurements in the intended room or headset path. Likewise, TEE, secure boot, signed firmware, TLS 1.3, SRTP, 802.1X, WPA3 and encrypted configuration protect different boundaries. A successful registration does not prove certificate validation or protected media.
Preserve the approved firmware, provisioning owner, administrator credential, certificate chain, enabled services and rollback path. Inspect the effective signaling and media negotiation on an authorized call and record any audio processing separately from the unprocessed comparison.
Use warnings as a diagnosis entry point
Yealink's current T77U warning documentation identifies default-password use, failed registration, wrong provisioning credentials and unavailable network as distinct conditions. Preserve the warning, time, network state, provisioning transaction and registration exchange before clearing the icon. A cleared notification is not a corrected root cause.
On an authorized service, test provisioning, registration, inbound and outbound calls, identity, hold, transfer, voicemail indication, headset, speaker, expansion keys, restart, network loss and an approved firmware change. No T77U, package, stand, display, connector, accessory, network, power source, firmware, account, PBX, protected session, emergency workflow, availability, compatibility, price, audio result or live call was inspected or tested for this reference.
