Grandstream GSC3570 facility control station

Evaluate the GSC3570 as a four-account SIP intercom and facility-control panel while keeping video, alarm I/O, relay ownership, storage, firmware and physical safety independently observable.

Unlisted fields remain unverified. Platform compatibility and remaining support life require confirmation for the exact ordered model.

Inventory the exact station and controlled objects

Record the GSC3570 hardware revision, serial and MAC identifiers, installed firmware, power source, Ethernet or Wi-Fi path, SIP accounts, paired GDS devices, camera streams, alarm inputs, relay output, SD card and management enrollment. The product page describes a facility control role, but each installed object and relationship remains evidence to collect.

Name the physical relay owner and the party that supplies lock power. A GSC3570 screen action, SIP message or direct peer command is not itself proof that the intended relay changed or the door reached a safe state.

Keep SIP, audio and video as separate call evidence

The manual documents four SIP accounts, full-duplex audio, a published codec set and H.264 decoding up to 720p. Confirm which account, peer, PBX route and stream serve each operator workflow. Capture signaling, negotiated media and displayed video independently; do not infer a camera path from two-way audio or infer door authority from a visible image.

Test call initiation, answer, auto-answer policy, DTMF or other permitted control signal, two-way intelligibility, video selection and ordinary hangup. Preserve credentials and addresses safely when sharing evidence.

Map every alarm input and relay action

Grandstream publishes four alarm inputs and one alarm output. Label the physical conductor, electrical state, source device, station rule, notification, operator action and final controlled device for each use. A logical alarm event and a physical circuit state are not interchangeable.

Use the vendor wiring guidance for fail-safe and fail-secure examples only as a design reference. Confirm voltage, current, polarity, isolation, supervision, grounding, door hardware, request-to-exit and emergency release with qualified installers and local requirements.

Choose direct peering or SIP pairing explicitly

Grandstream documents GDS integration by direct IP peering without a SIP server and IP pairing through a SIP server. Record the chosen model, exact GDS peer, account, authentication, remote-unlock path and behavior when the PBX or network is unavailable. Do not configure both paths casually and then infer which one opened the door.

Restrict direct-device access to the intended network, preserve administrator recovery and prove revocation. A direct path can reduce one dependency while creating a separate credential, routing and logging boundary.

Treat firmware, roles and storage as maintained state

Grandstream listed general firmware 1.0.7.10 at review; that table does not show what one station runs or whether its hardware revision has an intermediate upgrade requirement. Capture the installed version, read the matching release notes, back up supported configuration and storage data, and keep a tested recovery route before updating.

The FAQ distinguishes full administrator access from a limited user level and documents microSD storage up to 256 GB plus optional FTP behavior. Set separate credentials, disable unused services, avoid anonymous access, define snapshot and recording retention and verify restore or export without exposing sensitive facility data.

Validate outages and physical safety separately

Run an authorized acceptance plan covering boot, PoE or supply loss, wired or Wi-Fi interruption, PBX loss, peer loss, camera loss, alarm transitions, denied and permitted unlock, door-state feedback, restart, firmware recovery and log retrieval. Confirm the independent entry, exit and emergency-release plan whenever the station or network is unavailable.

No GSC3570, hardware revision, firmware image, SIP account, PBX, codec, camera, alarm input, relay, lock, credential, network, SD card, FTP service, management service, availability, compatibility, price, door or emergency path was inspected or tested for this reference.

Keep GSC3570 display and GDS3712 door evidence separate

Use the GDS3712 diagnostic to follow peer or PBX signaling, endpoint video, unlock request, relay and physical opening. The control station is not the final source for lock or door position.
