Documented specifications
Fanvil · Fanvil retained the V67 in its live V Series catalogue and maintained product, document and firmware pages at review. Android-platform support, regional availability, hardware state, firmware support, application approval and service-provider certification can change independently.
| Specification | Documented value |
|---|---|
| SIP identities | 20 SIP lines; this is not evidence of 20 simultaneous calls, 20 physical line keys or a measured call-start rate Source ↗ |
| Display and platform | 7-inch 1024 × 600 touch display adjustable from 0° to 40°, with Android 9.0 and support for third-party applications Source ↗ |
| Camera and video | Built-in 5-megapixel camera with mechanical privacy shutter; H.264 video is listed up to 1080p, subject to the negotiated peer and service path Source ↗ |
| DSS assignments | Up to 116 virtual DSS assignments for Line, BLF or speed-dial roles; pages and server-side resources remain separate Source ↗ |
| Published conferencing | Ten-way audio and three-way video conference capabilities; bridge ownership, mixed-media behavior and entitlements require exact-service acceptance Source ↗ |
| Network and radios | Dual Gigabit Ethernet with PoE, 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2; commissioned wired, WLAN and paired-device paths remain separate Source ↗ |
| Signalling and media controls | The datasheet lists SIP over UDP, TCP or TLS and RTP, RTCP or SRTP; configured capability is not proof of one call's negotiation or end-to-end protection Source ↗ |
| Current public firmware record | Fanvil listed V67-2.6.12.403 with a June 2, 2026 release date at review; the listing is not evidence of the installed or provider-approved build Source ↗ |
Unlisted fields remain unverified. Platform compatibility and remaining support life require confirmation for the exact ordered model.
Treat Android 9.0 as a managed platform, not a cosmetic interface
Fanvil's current datasheet identifies Android 9.0, built-in applications, third-party application support and an API development path. Those facts create a second governance surface alongside SIP. They do not prove that an arbitrary application is compatible, permitted, supported, patched or isolated from calling data.
Record the allowed application set, installation owner, account and permission model, update source, browser and email policy, data-retention boundary and recovery method. Obtain current manufacturer and organizational support evidence for the intended service life; a live product page and a phone-firmware listing do not by themselves define Android security maintenance.
Keep SIP lines, DSS assignments and conference legs separate
The datasheet publishes 20 SIP lines and up to 116 virtual DSS assignments. These describe configurable identities and paged actions, not 20 active calls, 116 physical keys or a measured call-start rate. A Line, BLF or speed-dial assignment still depends on the selected account, monitored target and PBX subscription state.
The same source lists ten-way audio and three-way video conferencing. Determine whether the device, PBX or hosted service owns each bridge, which legs carry video, which codecs and licenses apply, and what happens when one participant lacks a required media path. Preserve the final key map and conference topology rather than turning headline counts into capacity guarantees.
Make camera use and the privacy shutter explicit
The V67 includes a 5-megapixel camera, H.264 video support and a mechanical privacy cover. A shutter is a visible physical control; it does not establish that applications, administration, snapshots, recordings or remote services cannot access other data, and an open shutter does not establish user consent or authorized retention.
Define where video is allowed, who can open or close the shutter, whether inbound video can auto-start, which applications may use the camera and where images or recordings can be stored. Test framing, privacy state, incoming and outgoing video, audio-only fallback and recovery with the intended peer, PBX and policy.
Commission one network, power and accessory path at a time
The datasheet lists dual Gigabit ports with IEEE 802.3af PoE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, USB, headset and EHS paths, plus an optional external power supply and optional wall mounting. These are possible interfaces and purchase boundaries, not a promise that every accessory or power item is included or that all paths can be used together.
For Ethernet, retain switch port, VLAN, LLDP, DHCP, DNS, time, PoE and UPS evidence. For Wi-Fi, retain SSID, band, authentication, coverage and recovery. Record the exact headset, cable, USB device, adapter and wall kit, then test answer, end, mute, volume, transfer, restart and reconnection on the commissioned combination.
Translate protocol features into observable protection
Fanvil lists SIP over UDP, TCP or TLS, RTP/RTCP/SRTP, HTTPS management, mutual HTTPS authentication, 802.1X, VLANs, WPA/WPA2 and several provisioning methods. These controls address different legs. None establishes the effective certificate trust, encrypted call, protected configuration or restricted management path without installed-state evidence.
Assign ownership for administrator credentials, device certificates, provisioning URLs, exported configurations, packet captures, logs and application accounts. Verify the loaded server, transport, certificate chain, negotiated media and management reachability separately; do not disable validation or expose an insecure provisioning path merely to make registration succeed.
Track firmware, application state and end-to-end acceptance
Fanvil's public index listed V67-2.6.12.403 dated June 2, 2026. That is a publication record, not proof of the build installed on a phone, its release-note applicability, provider approval, Android component state, upgrade prerequisites or rollback path. Capture the device label, installed phone firmware, application inventory, configuration backup, approved target and image source as separate facts.
Stage the exact hardware before fleet rollout. Test clean provisioning, registration, inbound and outbound calls, identity, mute, hold, transfer, voicemail indication, BLF, directories, audio-only and video calls, conferences, headset, speaker, shutter, approved applications, restart, network loss, power loss and update recovery. Preserve the assigned number, physical location and provider-approved emergency validation process without an uncoordinated live emergency call. No V67, application, camera, network, PBX, protected session, media result or live call was inspected or tested for this reference.
Do not treat the V67 shutter or Android app as the whole video path
The V67 has a built-in camera and mechanical cover, but local capture, application permission, native SIP negotiation and remote media remain separate. Use the Android video diagnostic to preserve the exact firmware, client, offer/answer and packet direction before changing a codec or application.
