Bind 1TR119 to the current CompanyFlex handoff
Deutsche Telekom publishes 1TR119 specifically for the CompanyFlex SIP-trunking interface. It is a protocol boundary, not a copy-ready account template. Record the assigned registration identity, domain, route targets, credential owner, number inventory, contracted parallel calls, portal roles and support terms from the current handoff.
Preserve DNS resolution, transport, REGISTER, Contact, expiry, refresh and response evidence for the exact PBX. Registration success proves only that transaction; it does not establish identity authorization, inbound normalization, media, failover or emergency behavior.
Documented service facts

SIP authentication
DocumentedCompanyFlex uses an assigned registration identity and the current trunk credentials and proxy details. 1TR119 defines the interface behavior, but the current Business Service Portal and provider handoff govern the actual values. Preserve the issued registration number, domain, primary and secondary route data, secret owner and observed authorization exchange without copying another account or legacy DeutschlandLAN template.
SIP registration
Documented1TR119 specifies CompanyFlex registration and Contact requirements for the SIP-PBX interface. A successful REGISTER is not proof that identity headers, inbound routing, media security or failover are correct. Retain the current assigned registration number, resolved targets, transport, Contact, expiry, refresh, response and loaded PBX state for the exact trunk.
Inbound delivery
DocumentedCompanyFlex supports individual and DDI number ranges and lets multiple sites share contracted parallel calls. That commercial scope does not establish a particular delivered Request-URI, P-Asserted-Identity, number normalization or PBX route. Preserve the assigned inventory, port state, exact inbound identities and matched destination for each authorized acceptance call.
Routing and failover
DocumentedTelekom describes mobile access backup, a second access path and separately configured redundant SIP-trunk service options. These are different continuity layers. None establishes the ordered DNS or proxy sequence, trigger, customer-LAN dependency, restoration order or established-call outcome. Bind the current design to a provider-approved new-call failure exercise.
Number and regional availability
DocumentedCompanyFlex is a German business service offering individual and DDI numbers, number transfer and multi-site consolidation. The public pages do not establish current inventory, portability, identity rights, serviceability or regulatory eligibility for a particular address or number. Preserve dated order and port responses for the exact requirement.
Audio codecs and DTMF
Documented1TR119 v1.13.0 requires SIP-PBX support for G.711 A-law, recommends G.722 and a 20 ms packetization time, and describes other codecs only when all involved elements negotiate them. These interface capabilities do not prove the result of one call. Retain both SDP bodies, negotiated payloads, packetization, RTP endpoints, protection and decoded DTMF evidence.
T.38 fax
Documented1TR119 requires at least G.711 A-law fax support and describes T.38 as passive and transparent when both NGN SIP-trunk endpoints negotiate it. It also states that encrypted T.38 is not supported and a rejected encrypted T.38 change can leave fax on encrypted G.711. Treat each fax gateway, destination, fallback and page result as a separate acceptance path.
Signaling and media encryption
Documented1TR119 documents MediaSec negotiation and security headers for the CompanyFlex SIP-PBX interface and defines the protected range between the PBX and registration server. That scope is not end-to-end protection to the far party. Preserve certificate validation, TLS session, selected media mechanism, SDP crypto material handling and observed packet path for every leg without expanding the documented boundary.
Concurrent calls and call starts
DocumentedThe current product page includes two parallel calls and says up to 998 more can be booked; multiple sites can share the contracted pool subject to site bandwidth. Contracted parallel calls, active calls, attempted starts, bursts, access bandwidth and PBX or SBC resources remain separate quantities. Use the current order for entitlement and an approved load plan for observed behavior.
Emergency calling
Not verifiedThe reviewed CompanyFlex product, service and interface pages do not establish the account's emergency-call entitlement, site-location mapping, caller identity, nomadic treatment, callback behavior or an approved validation procedure. Obtain the current provider and regulatory process for every site, keep number and location records current and maintain an alternative calling method.
Pricing model
DocumentedTelekom publishes modular CompanyFlex pricing with access, number, flat-rate, usage, parallel-call and service options. A public starting price is not a complete account price and may change. Use a dated quote for sites, access, numbers, calls, minutes, service options, installation, support, taxes, term, renewal and cancellation.
Administration and support
DocumentedThe Business Service Portal manages CompanyFlex products and authorizations, while the service catalogue offers analysis, router installation, portal configuration, redundancy configuration and service-level options. Preserve portal roles, named contacts, escalation, monitoring boundary, maintenance notices and the purchased response target; catalogue availability does not prove account entitlement or response performance.
SMS and MMS
Not verifiedThe reviewed CompanyFlex SIP-Trunk pages and 1TR119 interface record do not establish SMS or MMS entitlement on trunk numbers, sender registration, API access, throughput, webhook security, retention or price. Cloud PBX messaging and Telekom's separate fixed-network SMS interface descriptions must not be transferred to the SIP-trunk order.
Keep number identity and routing evidence together
CompanyFlex supports individual numbers, DDI ranges, number transfer and shared multi-site resources. Those ordering capabilities do not show which identity the network delivered or accepted on one call. Keep the assigned inventory and port state with Request-URI, From, P-Preferred-Identity or P-Asserted-Identity and the PBX route that matched.
Do not substitute a DID, pilot, registration number or legacy DeutschlandLAN field because the labels look similar. The current provider record and an authorized wire capture must establish each role.
Treat MediaSec as a bounded hop
1TR119 v1.13.0 documents MediaSec negotiation on the CompanyFlex PBX interface and explicitly scopes encryption between the IP-PBX and registration server. That is not proof that the far endpoint, PSTN segment, recording system or downstream service is protected.
Retain certificate validation, TLS session, required security headers, selected media mechanism, offer and answer, RTP profile and observed packet path. A saved setting or successful secure registration does not prove that media used the expected protection on a call.
Accept codecs and fax on observed sessions
The specification requires the PBX to support G.711 A-law, recommends G.722 and recommends 20 ms packetization. Other listed codecs depend on negotiation by every involved element. Preserve both SDP bodies, selected payloads, packetization, RTP endpoints and decoded DTMF evidence rather than reporting the interface list as the call result.
For fax, 1TR119 describes G.711 support and passive T.38 when both NGN SIP-trunk endpoints agree. It does not support encrypted T.38. Test the exact gateways, fallback behavior, destination and page result under an approved plan.
Separate calls, access resilience and service operations
The product includes a small number of parallel calls and lets more be ordered, while multiple sites can share the pool. Contracted calls, active calls, call starts, bursts, bandwidth and PBX or SBC resources are different limits. Use the order for entitlement and an approved load plan for measured behavior.
Mobile access backup, a second access path and a separately configured redundant trunk are distinct continuity layers. Record portal roles, monitoring, support tier and a bounded new-call failure exercise. Emergency treatment and messaging remain unresolved until account-specific provider records establish them.
Diagnose 403 at the method and header that failed
For Asterisk PJSIP, use the focused 403 diagnostic to keep a rejected REGISTER Contact separate from a rejected INVITE identity. The current handoff and 1TR119 govern CompanyFlex values; Asterisk's registration contact_user and endpoint or channel identity controls are not interchangeable.
